Hair Care Tips
Here at Premier Hair Life we feel the most important part of upgrading your wig closet is properly maintaining your units.
Here are our top tips that are crucial to ensure great quality wigs that will last:
-
Wigs should be washed with shampoo and conditioner or co-washed with conditioner every other week.
-
When washing, gently apply products in a downward motion with your fingers or a wide tooth comb to reduce tangling.
-
The less heat the better, heat damage can harm your wigs causing breakage and shedding.
-
When using heat, always use heat protectant and avoid temperatures over 400 degrees fahrenheit.
-
Always wash colored hair with cold water and avoid high temperatures.
-
When sleeping, be sure to protect wigs with a satin or silk scarf and put the wig in either rollers, twists. or a wrap to protect the integrity of the hair.
Remember that minimal shedding is normal! Our own natural hair occasionally sheds / gets caught so a little is normal from your wigs!
